Membership is open to individuals, both males and females, holding associate (or equivalent), baccalaureate, or higher degrees from an accredited college or university. Associate membership is also available to college students, full and part-time. In principle and in practice, AAUW values and seeks a diverse membership. There are no barriers to full participation in AAUW on the bases of gender, race, creed, age, sexual orientation, national origin, or disability. Need more information? Special Membership Categories
Life Members: Association dues are waived. Only the State and Branch dues are owed. Currently, Life Membership costs $1480.00.
50-Year/Honorary Life Members: Free membership.
Student Associates: Students pay $18.81 for National dues, which is fully tax deductible.
Want to Join two Branches? Are you torn in choosing which branch to join because both have great activities? Do you go to FL or another warm state for the winter? If so, you might consider joining two branches. Simply declare one as your home branch; pay all dues there. You join the second branch by remitting only their branch dues; or if joining a second branch in another state, you’d pay both branch and state dues.
